Dimitri M. Teddone, MAI

Dimitri M. Teddone founded Originators Group, LLC, in 1996, which actively provides real estate appraisal, consultation and due diligence services to the real estate investment and financial community. Mr. Teddone brings over 35 years of pro forma analysis, real estate appraisal and consulting experience throughout the United States including valuations consisting of over $1.0 trillion in assets in 48 States, the New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec Provinces of Canada, and Mexico.

He provides real estate services to a variety of client types including money center and regional banks, Wall Street investment banks (CMBS / conduit lenders), REITs, insurance companies, servicers, the SBA, agency lenders (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), real estate fund advisors, equity investors, and hard money lenders on all facets of commercial real estate including: appraisals for mortgage, acquisition, disposition, and portfolio management, estate planning, property tax assessment appeal evaluations, litigation support and expert testimony, highest and best use and feasibility analyses, and deal structuring.

Prior to founding Originators Group, he was employed by Holliday Fenoglio Fowler as Chief Underwriter managing an analyst team, and directing and overseeing all financial underwriting for all correspondent lender relationships with over $500 million in whole loans closed on investment-grade commercial real estate under his tenure.  Presaging his HFF tenure, he was a senior real estate analyst at CBRE and promoted to Assistant Vice President after earning the prestigious MAI designation in April of 1994 where his responsibilities involved analysis and consultation of investment-grade commercial real estate throughout the northeast United States.

Mr. Teddone Co-Authored a paper:  Store Location in Shopping Centers 15 Years After.  The paper was accepted and presented during the 2014 Appraisal Institute Annual Meeting on August 05, 2014.  He is also licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in 14 States and is HUD Multi-Family Accelerated Processing (MAP) Certified since 2008.
